Welcome to the International Office of the School of Business and Management | FAGEN!

Our mission is to promote and facilitate FAGEN's interactions, actions and international presence.

Created in 2014, the International Office aims at broadening FAGEN’s actions and international presence. We welcome you to our website and hope you enjoy the information provided. If you have any doubts or want to know more about FAGEN and/or our international endeavors, please feel free to contact our team. We are prepared to help you and looking forward to hearing from you!

The International Office is responsible for planning, coordinating, organizing, advising, supporting, supervising and disseminating the internationalization activities developed by FAGEN. These internationalization actions include events, courses, programs, projects, mobility/exchanges, visits, international cooperation, agreements, research projects, publications and other academic products developed in various thematic areas.

 

The School of Business and Management at Uberlandia Federal University (FAGEN/UFU) is located in Uberlandia.

Uberlandia was founded in 1888 and is the largest city in a region known as “Triângulo Mineiro”, in the state of Minas Gerais. According to the Uberlândia Convention & Visitors Bureau (UC&VB), “Uberlândia has an urban population of over 640,000 inhabitants, and is the second consumer market of Minas Gerais, having more than 82 million consumers within a radius of 600 km, making it one of the most prosperous cities in the interior of Brazil. In recent decades, the city has attracted large companies and, with its privileged strategic location, has become the largest center for wholesale distribution in Latin America, a reference in the trade and call center sector and telecommunications services”.

News

Business and Entrepreneurship facilitated MOOC with American English Language Experts

O International Office da FAGEN/UFU informa que teve início em novembro/2021 o MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) Business and Entrepreneurship, realizado pelo Escritório Regional de Língua Inglesa (RELO), do Departamento de Estado dos Estados Unidos – Escritório de Assuntos Educacionais e Culturais.

O MOOC, realizado em inglês, prevê encontros síncronos e atividades assíncronas, e está dividido em cinco módulos.

O curso de formação em inglês para Negócios e Empreendedorismo vai até 08 de janeiro de 2022, e está sendo realizado de forma totalmente remota.

WWU Münster
Profa. Dra. Vérica Freitas, da FAGEN / UFU, participa de seminário e
reuniões de pesquisas no Departamento de Sistemas de Informação, School of
Business and Economics, WWU Münster, na Alemanha.

A Profa. Dra. Vérica Freitas esteve no Departamento de Sistemas de Informação da
Escola de Negócios e Economia da WWU Münster, na Alemanha, em setembro de
2019. Participou do Doutorado da Cátedra. seminário, apresentando a
Universidade Federal de Uberlândia e discutindo possibilidades de
áreas de pesquisa conjuntas , incluindo Indústria 4.0, Big Data e
Medição de Desempenho .

Statistics

Since 2008, FAGEN has welcomed 11 undergraduate and graduate students from different countries. And over 70 students have experienced time studying abroad, in one of the institutions we have agreements with.

Our professors’ international experience include: time as visiting scholars; Post-doctoral researchers; papers and lectures presented in events and conferences; joint researches and academic publications; participation in international research groups; reviewers for international conferences and papers. We also welcome professors and researchers from different countries to teach, lecture and develop joint research with our team at UFU.
