About the course
Are you interested in Brands and Brand Management?
Join us to learn the fundamentals of branding and its strategic importance in the context of marketing decisions – while having an international experience at home.
The course has 135 hours, divided into five modules, and is developed as part of the ACOT– Arctic and Cerrado Online Training project. This Project is financed by the Finnish National Agency for Education, Team Finland Knowledge Programme.
By the end of this course we expect you to be able to understand the fundamentals of branding and its strategic importance in the context of marketing decisions.
Target audience: students, entrepreneurs, managers, consultants and professionals with different backgrounds, all interested in Branding.

What is ACOT?
The ACOT project is financed by the Finnish National Agency for Education, as part of its Team Finland Knowledge Programme.
In this project, three higher education institutions collaborate to develop online courses: Oulu University of Applied Sciences and the University of Oulu, both in Finland, and the Federal University of Uberlandia (UFU) in Brazil.
ACOT is an acronym, from Arctic and Cerrado Online Training. Arctic because the two Finnish institutions are located in Oulu, a city in the North Ostrobothnia region, closer to the Arctic Circle in Finland. And Cerrado, because that’s the name of the biome in the region of Brazil where the city of Uberlândia is located.
The project started in 2023 and ends in December 2025. During this period, the higher education institutions jointly developed three online courses, all in English: Managing Sustainability through Responsible Leadership; Managing International Teams and Projects; and Branding in the Digital Era.
